Golden Corral in Shawnee

Since The covid19 thing and the re-open we found out its no longer a buffet and you'll be served ? Its 4/14/2020 its all so the last time will be visting your establishment 😤 if it aint broke dont fix it

Yummy! I love their rolls, seafood salad & beef roast with the baby carrots. I usually get mashed potatoes with gravy.❤ I make a spinach salad with the seafood salad & other goodies then top it off with ranch dressing.And you have to have dessert. Depending on what is available I may get a small piece of cake, pie & some fudge.You should try this place out!

The service and food was great. Manager was walking the floor constantly asking patrons if they were doing alright and if they needed anything.

The Food was really good.They have the buffet open today.Bread pudding was to Die for.

OMG. This place is amazing. You might want to starve yourself all day before going there because when you leave you can barely walk. They have a huge selection of fresh salads and everything that is associated with salad like cottage cheese and fruit Etc. There is a massive selection of entrees with different types of veggies and meats and even Pizza. There are some cooked entrees as well and I think they may change them up here and there. Everything is just very good. The dessert bar is something that you might want to go to first because if you eat first you may not have room for it and get overstuffed. There are many different types of puddings and pies and cake and there is even ice cream. Now I didn't even mention the chocolate covered bananas and chocolate covered strawberries and chocolate covered marshmallows from there hot chocolate fountain. Just an awesome place to gain a few pounds

Over priced on the weekend..4 people costing 90 dollars for buffet.. And we did not beat prime rib

Sad to see them closing on July 15th 2020.

Everything was very good and hot.We eat steak pot roast chicken meatloaf and various sides and desserts. Everything was better then anticipated

It is a good place to go when you can't decide what you have a taste for, they have nice variety

Always get full from lots to eat. One of the best salad bars in town. Their sliders are better than White Castles'.

Please cut red onions uniformly for salad bar. I spent 10 minutes cutting them which greatly diminished the pleasure of my dining experience. 😞

I enjoyed the service, the waitress bringing the food to your table and you can go to the salad/ fruit bar, and I think it will keep people from wasting food, some people get plates full of food and don't hardley touch it, the service was real friendly and very thoughtfull Thank you Golden Corral

After having eating dinner the night befor at Denny s from hell It was wonderful. Food the service all were very good .

Steaks r still to tuff..food was warm not hot like it should be

This was my dad's favorite place to get together with all the family to take us out to eat. Good variety of full course meals: soups, salads, meats, veggies, pastas, breads, desserts, etc. A lot of room for large gatherings. It seemed the appropriate place to meet today in honor of him after his funeral.

Our breakfast here was delicious. The omelet was the best I'd ever had at this buffet. Everything was clean and fresh on the buffet, and the service was exceptional. We went for my mother's birthday, and we will certainly go back.

Food was good. They are really trying very hard to accommodate during this difficult time. Thank you for working with our local civic clubs.

Great selection of food, salad, desert, all for a very fair price. Service is also good and a very courteous and friendly staff.

A lot of good food but some times there is a line and there are all most all ways a lot of people there

Most of the food we had was good. The main disappointment was the shrimp. Its texture was a bit rubbery as if it had been out a little too long. The largest reason I'm giving only 3 stars is that the young male who seated us first took us to nearly the furthest table from the food he could. My 92 year old Aunt was with me. He obviously does not pay attention to the guests he is seating. I told him no, we needed to be closer so she wouldn't have to walk so far. Common sense and attention to detail we're definitely not his strong points.

Went to the Shawnee Oklahoma location and had a most disappointing meal. The new " Family style dining " is disappointing at best. An extremely limited menu that was mindful of microwave tv dinners. For $7.95 plus drinks at $3, , it was not a buffet as expected. The service was at bestwas as good as it could, butthe servers were not trained as wait staff, they. got orders wrong, constantly said they were sorry for the mistakes. The . I will not be returning until, if until , Golden Corral returns to a buffet as it was before. The carvery, the salad bar, the deserts and the things that GC is known forno longer exist.

Very pleased. Buffet was much better than others I've eaten at. Will go again.

The server was nice and he kept up on our drinks and stuff. Also the steaks were really good! Loved it

I love Golden Corral because they have such a large variety of food to choose from. No matter how picky of an eater you might be...You will surely find something that you like to eat. Our server was such a sweet young man too. We had a group of 14 and he did a great job.

Not too bad. Getting a little better. Pork chops were too salty for my taste.

Waitress was amazing! However the new setup they have because of the covid-19 seemed to be crazy chaotic for our family. We shave a family of 6, and we absolutely did not enjoy the meal...we couldn't go to the bar to see how fresh the items were and several tasted old.... With the new set up you have to pay for your steak which was very disappointing.

Kasey our server was very attentive kept our beverages refilled plates taken away as needed brought food from cook to table in a great time as we went to bar with other idems. 5 out of five stars.

Probably one of the best, and smallest GC I've been to. Waitress was very friendly, didn't have to ask for a drink, table was clear. Food line was clean, food was fresh and hot. First time I've been to this one, and I'd go back.

Not a bad restaurant. Better bring your appetite, especially for the price. Food seems fresh and servers are always keeping the food stocked. The cookies and pies are where it's at. Waiters are super friendly.

In a small town off of I40. I most tell you, the place was very clean and all the food looked freshly made. The staff are so attentive and courteous, plenty of salads and desserts. Y'all already know it's a buffet so you know what there. Lol I'm very picky when it comes to meats, and this was one of the best steaks, so full of flavor and so tender. Another one of my favorites was the corn bread and the wings. The corn bread was so delicious, excellent texture and flavor. The butter on top gives it a great compliment. The buffalo wings and the sweet ones are so good. Overall my experience here was very satisfying

We love eating here and have never had any issues. It can get very busy but the staff handle it very well.
